AI Disclosure
AI is one of the most exciting new tools digital marketers have in their wheelhouse. At Vine Digital, it’s a constant buzz, a frisson of excitement as our team members share with each other innovative and exciting applications of AI that help streamline our workflows. We’re all about transparency, and we think you deserve to know exactly how we’re using AI.
Where AI Supports Us at Vine Digital
AI tools assist with tasks like brainstorming creative concepts, summarising data, and helping our teams identify patterns or opportunities faster. It’s most useful when it accelerates the beginning of a project (e.g. drafting, ideating, or structuring ideas) before a team member takes over to refine and polish.
It’s a tool for support, not substitution. Strategy, creative thinking, and decision-making remain firmly in human hands.
What Humans Still Do (Hint: Most of It)
We don’t publish a thing until a human’s been through it. Every AI-assisted piece goes through layers of checking: for facts, compliance (especially in regulated industries like health), tone, and purpose.
No shortcuts here. No generic, robotic copy. We assiduously pore over our AI output to ensure it’s relevant, accurate, and aligned with our standards.
The Ethical Bit
AI & Data Protection
We don’t upload or share any personally identifiable information, customer data, CRM exports, credentials, or unpublished client materials with AI platforms.
If we use client-related content to support internal workflows (e.g. report summaries or ideation), we do so with the following safeguards:
- Client names may be replaced with industry descriptors
- Report inputs are excerpted, not uploaded in full
- No private financial data or sensitive volumes (e.g. ad spend or revenue) are included
- Public-facing content (like live websites) may be used to guide ideation
Our use of AI tools complies with the Privacy Act 1988, GDPR (where applicable), AHPRA, and TGA advertising standards.
Consent & Client Control
We understand AI isn’t one-size-fits-all. If you’re a client and prefer not to have AI used on your account, you’re in control.
- You can opt out of AI involvement at the account or project level
- In regulated industries, AI is never used in live content without explicit client consent
